Schedule 2004
All walks are for fully paid up members of Clonakilty Walking
Group. All walks are weather permitting, confirm with O’Donovan’s Hotel
the morning of walk, especially if coming from a distance.
All walkers must wear suitable hill-walking gear including boots - no trainers or jeans to be worn - and must make their own personal judgement as to their capability to undertake a walk.
All
participants should be aware, and are reminded that hill walking is an
activity with a danger of personal injury or death and should be aware
of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and
involvement.
Non members are welcome to walk with the
group for three walks free of charge, then membership is EUR 40 adult
or EUR 20 under-18 (including insurance).
Please respect the leaders responsibility for the walk and decisions made on the day.

A 6 hour walk, more strenuous and slightly longer than Gougae Barra so
classed as a Grade A walk. Please remember that proper wet weather gear
and warm fleece, hat, gloves, proper hillwalking boots are essential
for a safe and pleasant outing on the
mountains.

A 5 hour walk. New walkers are welcome and this would be a good walk
for those who feel that they may not be able for an "A" strenuous walk.
Sturdy ankle support boots with ridged sole, wet weather trousers and
jacket and a warm fleece, pack lunch and bottled water or a
flask.
