Sunday, October 16th
Ivor O'Connor and Ciarán O'Brien lead a walk in Crohane, Co. Kerry. The morning wasn't very encouraging for walking, with fog down for the day and rain forecast. However, fourteen people met at An Cruiscin Lan in Ballyvourney and set off. The walk lasted six hours and the group managed to miss out on any heavy rain. Despite the soggy conditions, two walkers kept impeccably clean throughout the day, but towards the end a bog hole had a different plan for one of them! The round of applause from Ciarán was of little consolation. Margaret came home the cleanest walker again.
